'Evolution of Revolution' is possibly one of Hartmut Kiewert's most popular pieces. Inspired by Delacroix's 'Liberty Leading the People', Hartmut has created a metaphor for animal liberation by replacing the guns that the Liberty and the small boy hold in their hands with bolt cutters and all other figures with the animal species most exploited in our society, such as pigs and cows.
