In 'Quiet Now' Katharina Rot invites the viewer to feel connected with the situation and to identify with the girl in the picture. Katharina explains "That's why I made the composition of the picture in a way that the viewer is somehow included in a secret. No one else can see them, the hunter is walking by without knowing and it's just the fox, the deer, the girl, and the viewer, so there is a kind of feeling of intimacy to it".
