‘The Ghost Camera’ was inspired by a story of the same name taken from Philip's novel ‘All that remains’, all about an imagined future based on the destructive and unstoppable progress of the ever-expanding and increasingly brutal nature of factory farming. This painting draws together many strands of meaning in one single image.
