ABOUT US

Started in 2015 by Leigh Sanders, The Art of Compassion Project is an international art collective that aims to support the compassionate lifestyle of veganism by donating 100% of proceeds from various art projects to non-profit vegan organizations. Through this effort, we also aim to build a strong international community of vegan artists who share the same vision—to use their art as a means to spread the vegan message.

Currently, The AOC Project is supported by over 140 artists from 26 countries and continues to grow. Since our inception, we have raised funding through our various projects which have included online art auctions, art exhibitions and yearly calendars.  In addition to the projects we have coordinated online, we have had the incredible opportunity to exhibit vegan art and share what we do at expos, Vegfests, vegan festivals and markets throughout Europe, the UK, the USA and China.

As such we do everything we can to maintain that trust. Our team is involved on the basis that they will protect information about you. This is our personal standard.  Under law your rights to privacy are also protected. The law places strict requirements on us to treat any information you give us as confidential.  The information you provide remains private and is only used for the purposes outlined below.  What information we collect & why we collect it If you subscribe to our newsletter via the subscription form on our website we will collect your name and email address via Mailchimp (who are GDPR compliant - read their Privacy Policy here) which will be used to send you a monthly newsletter.  The information we collect, whether you're subscriibing to our newsletter via the website, or sending us an email, is always treated as strictly confidential and is never disclosed to a third party unless required by law. We never nor will we ever make our database available to other organisations.  Opting out of further correspondence If you do not wish to receive any further newsletters from The Art of Compassion Project, you will be given the opportunity to make this election each time a nwsletter is sent to you, or you may contact us directly to cancel any further communications at [email protected]  How this information is held The security of your information is important to us. We use Mailchimp to send you our email newsletters and any personal information disclosed to the contractor remains confidential to us.  How you can access and correct the information held It is our policy to give access to subsribers to the information we hold on them. This is consistent with our commitment to transparency and as such, you may access your information at any time by simply contacting us at [email protected].
