ART AS ACTIVISM FOR SOCIAL AND POLITICAL CHANGE
“We were so grateful to have the opportunity to present a talk and slideshow at International Animal Rights Conference in Luxembourg (last week). We spoke about the work of the Art Of Compassion Project, along with a brief discussion about the history of art in other social justice movements, and addressed just why art is so important as a tool in the fight for animal liberation. We have so many people to thank, the list is endless. Support from many other brilliant, hard-working activists gave us the confidence to speak, and it was an honour to be there as representatives for the project, for our incredible artists, and of course, for the animals. 💕” Helen Barker
