Laura Buchenlicht

Laura is a freelance artivist (visual, singer/songwriter, and writer) from Germany. She’s passionate about intersectional animal rights, feminism, and trauma-informed mental health. A lifelong vegetarian, she became vegan in 2016. She always connected to animals and as someone with Complex Trauma, relates to being oppressed and voiceless.
Her aim is to bring more trauma awareness to vegan activism and is interested in exploring how people’s relationship with animals is connected to their relationship with themselves and their trauma history. She is also a Lived Experience Trauma Educator, Historical Linguist, Archaeologist, and lover of nature.
