Jade. MB_I Don’t Eat Grass

Freelance illustrator and fashion designer, Jade was born in Udine – Italy in 1985. She has a degree in art painting and pictorial decoration at Liceo Artistico Statale Santa Caterina in Treviso and a degree at IUAV University of Venice in Fashion Design. In 2013 she started the project I Don’t Eat Grass, to talk about veganism and anti-speciesism through art. She uses illustration and painting to represent animals as individuals or to criticize human society and its contradictory relationship with animals. The purpose is to encourage people to finally start questioning their beliefs and habits, and art is a powerful means to make that happen. Since 2014 she’s also the curator of the art section of Italian website Veganzetta.org.
