Laura Aceto

Laura is a 67 year old, life-long artist, who has been vegan since May 2015.  Art and animals have always been her great loves. She “went vegan” after learning about the horrors of factory farming (thanks to social media), and coming to the realization that she couldn’t love animals and yet kill/eat them. Making that connection totally transformed her spirit and she’s determined to reach others with her art, so that they might make the same compassionate decision to live a vegan lifestyle.  Recently, she helped a friend decorate her new vegan café in New Jersey with custom paintings of farm animals — a patron remarked that she had “captured their souls”, which was a wonderful compliment!  Laura’s goal as an artist is to advocate for all of God’s creatures, great and small, and to promote love and compassion.
