Renata believes that being kind and having more empathy towards non-human animals and expanding our moral thinking to other beings, would truly manifest high principles and would make everyone a better person.

My girlfriend and I are doctoral students who recently started a non-profit, As We Wake. Our mission is ‘Connecting lives at the deepest level of identity’. We approach social topics from a non-dual perspective of Interbeing, and work on projects we hope will progress humanity’s sense of global connectedness and self-transcendence.
One of the domains we are most passionate about contributing to is reducing animal suffering. We are in the process of working on a ‘Vegan Curious’ project for generating interest in veganism. We saw your art and absolutely loved it.
