Book
The Art of Compassion is the first book of its kind—a collection of heartwarming and awakening vegan art from eighty artists around the globe. Through the power of visual and literary art, this book aims to expose the plight of animals, to empower animal rights activists, and inspire the compassionate lifestyle of veganism. The book was released on Amazon worldwide on June 2, 2019—National Animal Rights Day.
Julie Gueraseva—founder, editor, and designer of LAIKA Magazine—writes: “Through a collection of works from eighty artists, The Art of Compassion showcases the remarkable breadth of contemporary vegan art. Every imaginable style and medium is represented: whether realism or abstract; painting or photography; sculpture or collage; watercolor or digital illustration. If society’s progress is measured by its art, then the sheer volume of animal rights art that is being generated today and the scope of its creativity is a testament that this movement is advancing toward a time of critical mass.”

Jane Land—co-founder of Veganuary—writes: “An insightful collection of work by wonderful artists, The Art of Compassion will inspire and educate the world about the lives of non-human animals. These powerful images capture their beauty, depict their emotions and bring our worlds closer together. Veganuary is honored to be part of this project and to use the proceeds of this book to encourage thousands more people around the world to reduce animal suffering by going vegan.”

I was absolutely thrilled to get this book. It is filled with stunning art from a very diverse range of artists but one thing all of the work has in common is that it is motivated by a love for animals and the environment. I find something new to admire and aspire to every time I leaf through it.
It is a great initiative and a beautiful book, as well as a pragmatic and lovely way to help animals ☺

What an amazing collection of inspiring and ground breaking work wrapped up in a well designed book! I’m really honoured to be a part of it and also learn about incredible Artists across the globe.
A truly exceptional book! Speaking as one of the AOC artists, I already knew of many of the artists featured in this book, but now I feel like I’ve finally met them all properly, as well as now understanding their methods and motivations. The artwork is incredibly varied in style and approach, and the text is both moving and inspiring. No-one could fail to be impressed by the teamwork and shared camaraderie of this unique approach to animal rights and veganism.
This book is a milestone in the animal rights/vegan movement, summing up the place we are now at (as a species) in our struggle to find a more compassionate existence on this planet.
