Illustrator, painter/decorator. Digital nomad and nomadic artist since many years, now lives mostly around Amsterdam. Vegan, psychonaut, cat-sitter.
Born in Italy, studied fine arts then moved to Tunis to study Arabic language and calligraphy; finally getting more and more interested in that cultural world, ended up publishing a study on image and aesthetics in the Arabic-Islamic culture. Seemingly destined to an academic career between France and Maghreb as a teacher/researcher, suddenly changes directions and starts a decade-long erratic phase of life and experiences in several countries and cities, sometimes putting the artistic activity
somehow in standby.
In more recent years, working as a freelance translator, he’s found again enough time and attention to dedicate consistently to art and creation, producing a vast and eclectic portfolio of illustrations, and finally created a webshop, with mostly psychedelic artwork and lots of aliens & cats!
