“My articles, columns, and illustrations have been published in Kuwait’s local newspapers and magazines since 2007. My literary writings and artworks have also appeared in anthologies and art publications in Kuwait and abroad.
Having been vegan since 2010, I have dedicated my vegan activism through leafleting across Kuwait and spreading awareness online, under the alias “Veganmusa”, founding social media platforms for veganism and animal rights activism such as Vegans in Kuwait (formerly Vegan Kuwait) and Animal Rights Advocacy Philippines (ARAP). In addition, I have published a couple of vegan poems online, including the vegan-themed haiku poems on The Haiku Foundation, and penned down the first feature article on the rise of veganism in Kuwait on the daily newspaper, Kuwait Times, titled “The Vegan Way in Kuwait”, back in 2014. I also published a coffee table book on animal rights and veganism, titled “Colors of Compassion” (2021) and included my vegan poems in my poetry collection “Line Breaker” (2021)”.
