Sofia Silva is a self-taught hobbyist pencil artist from the south of Portugal, born in 1992.
She started drawing in 2010 and loves to make pictures come to life on the paper, working predominantly in colored and graphite pencils, aiming to achieve realism and capturing the natural beauty in each subject, be it people, animals or still life.
Sofia has been vegan since 2015 and has recently been inspired to use dedicate her artworks to promoting veganism, joining the the Art of Compassion project in 2019.
