Rainforest Trust fundraiser

With the raging fires in the Amazon on everyone’s minds at the moment, we are trying to raise funding for an organisation that can make a difference. “Rainforest Trust purchases and protects the most threatened tropical forests, saving endangered wildlife through partnerships and community engagement. Through these local partnerships, we empower indigenous people to own and steward their own lands while offering them education, training, and economic assistance. This training includes employing them as reserve guards, wildlife monitors, and eco-tourism guides. This highly effective, landscape-based, and community-inclusive model ensures long-lasting results for all the biodiversity within the forests we purchase and protect.”

From the 1st to the 15th September you can bid on items our artists are donating to this cause. The ‘auction’ is taking place on Facebook, not our usual auctioning site, but the best option considering the artists will send the winning bidder the item/s themselves.

All proceeds from bids will then go into this Facebook fundraiser which Facebook will directly pay to Rainforest Trust. They do not charge fees, so 100% of what we raise will go to them.
