Project 55
With the world the way it is now because of the Coronavirus, social distancing is simply a part of our everyday lives. So, when VegfestUK announced their very first Summerfest Online we were super excited about the possibility of taking part in this event.
Now, if you haven´t yet heard of VegfestUK Summerfest Online, you’re in for a treat! Besides being FREE to the public this full weekend event is chock-a-bloc full of talks and presentations covering everything from food and fitness to comedy and music. And art – lots of gorgeous vegan art – that’s where we come in!
To start with we have a digital art exhibition in the form of a 3 part video series showcasing the work of 46 artists from over 20 countries. The art is varied instyles there is something for everyone’s taste!
Then, should you spot a painting you absolutely adore. you have the option to bid on it in our Online Art Poster auction. There are over 250 art posters in the auction, including all 180 from the digital exhibition. Bidding starts at £15 GBP (unless otherwise stated). All proceeds from the auction are in aid of NSW Hen Rescue and Vegans Against World Hunger. For more information about the auction click here.
Last, but not least – twenty of the artists involved in the digital exhibition will be in the chatroom at various times over the weekend to chat to you about their art, veganism and answer any questions you may have! (See the schedule below)
